Before I had my first baby I didn't realise how important it would be to look after my nipples when breastfeeding. I bought the first nipple cream I saw online at Prenatal.nl, thinking that I probably wouldn't need it. The cream I bought was Medela Purelan 100.

My review of Medela Nipple Cream: Purelan 100:
I did not feel much benefit from Purelan 100 my nipples continued to be sore for the following reasons:
Although this product is also 100% lanolin, Purelan 100 is not as well refined as Lansinoh
Purelan 100 does not spread over the nipple so easily
Also another huge disadvantage of Purelan 100 is that the bright yellow colour of the nipple cream stained my clothes!
So when I was in the UK I purchased a tube of Lansinoh. The quality is so much better and I immediately felt a reduction in the nipple pain. The following week I purchased three more tubes from Amazon.
